My husband and I are so glad to have had Kristen represent us when buying and selling a home this past spring. She is highly professional, down-to-earth, and passionate in her role to connect and secure her clients with the home that is best for them, no matter what the budget or circumstances. We had met Kristen through a good friend, but it did take a few years before we started to look at homes more seriously and narrow our search to specific neighborhoods and price range. Kristen was so patient in letting us explore several different homes along the way before finally arriving at agreeing on home needs that suited us both.

We had initially overlooked our new home when it was first listed, but Kristen sent it to us via text message mentioning how it met many of our specific needs and priorities. It was the first house that we actually agreed upon! Kristen was out of town the weekend of the open house, but made herself available remotely to connect with the seller’s agent ahead of time and express our interest. She then worked remotely to send our offer in that evening. Kristen had great ideas to create a competitive offer beyond the offer price, and we got the house! She was cool, calm and collected throughout the entire process that can be very stressful and an emotional rollercoaster for clients!

Kristen effectively communicated the status of our offer and kept us well-informed with texts/phone calls and was always willing to answer our many questions. She provided valuable guidance, support, and solid advice like a trusted friend through all of the negotiations when both buying and selling our old home. She did a great job of laying out all of the available options without trying to sway us one way or the other, but gave honest answers when describing the pros and cons for each decision. She was direct, reasonable and realistic when presenting the situation and options during negotiations. She really wants to arrive at the best situation for her buyers and sellers. We trusted our guts and it aligned with Kristen’s advice each time.

Kristen has excellent knowledge and expertise in the real estate market. I think the most important attribute to have as a real estate agent is a dedication to continuously improving skills and knowledge base; Kristen has this drive and truly loves the work she does in finding the best home for her clients in any budget range. She is also not scared to negotiate – in fact she LOVES to negotiate and work through the process to achieve the best possible outcome for both sides. We really appreciated this and never felt pressured or like we didn’t talk through everything we were agreeing to, both when buying and selling home.

Ultimately, we would absolutely use Kristen again to buy and sell a home, and would 100% recommend her to our friends, family or colleagues! Our previous townhome sold in 2 days after listing, and Kristen gave us great advice on preparations to improve the ‘wow’ factor of the home to potential buyers. When preparing our home to sell, she walked through and provided great feedback on what could be done to increase the value of the home and ways to make them cost-effective. Much of the advice included easy touch ups that can be overlooked when you’ve been living in a space for so long, like re-caulking the attic door on the ceiling (lol). Lastly, the photographer that Kristen used for our home listing was absolutely phenomenal! This was such an important piece to driving interest to a home and I appreciated the solid work that was done for our listing. The photographer really brought the home to life through photos and showcased all the areas with great attention to detail. Kristen also put time and thought into a very well-written and accurate description of the home which was wonderful. The listing generated a great turnout for the open house, and we got several offers that evening. The whole selling and buying process was stressful, but Kristen made it work out so smoothly and we appreciated her work, attention to detail, and high level of professionalism.
