AG Casa Marina - Bradenton Beach, Florida

This is a nicely updated older structure on the beach. We stayed in unit #5 and it was plenty of space for 6 people. We ate every meal on the 2nd story balcony with an unobstructed view of the gulf. Parking is tight for a truck with space for only one vehicle per unit but the other guests were courteous by staying centered in their assigned spots. We used the heated pool every day during our winter stay and cooked a few of our meals on the grill area of the shared “backyard”. We also appreciated that the outdoor shower had temperature control when washing off sand after hanging out on the beach. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice place for vacation.

We had a great time at AG Casa Marina. The kids loved the heated pool, playing in the super fine sand and the beach. The view from our balcony was priceless. The location was great, close to everything. The apartment had a newly renovated kitchen and bath and you could tell they are working on bringing the place back to looking great. Some areas need improvement around the house and parking was tight but overall a great.

Two years ago we had the pleasure of staying at "AG Casa Marina" and had a wonderful time. In our return trip this year, we were reminded why we chose this place to begin with. It was apparent that the owner added upgrades to the unit, the bathrooms are very nice, rooms very comfy and the view is priceless. All the amenities we expected and more. Our family had a great time especially knowing that we could relax by simply just walking downstairs from our porch area and it was white sandy beach and sparkling waters. We also had a chance to meet our neighbors from below and they shared with us how they had been coming to this place for three years now and they were always happy with their stay. We are already planning coming back in the summer, we can't wait.

Never ever again! Smelly moldy discusting! The bed is uncomfortable! Low ceiling. Standing air conditioners and window air conditioner set in the wall. Very loud. Dirty walls some kind of animal droppings on window sill near stovetop. Pool is very narrow and looked very dark and dirty. Whistling through locked window all night long. Frank the owner came to the property after we expressed our concern regarding the first apartments condition, moved us to the bigger unit 1, when we expressed our concern about the above conditions of that apartment he basically told us to leave that we would be refunded at a later date. We were stuck. Stayed away as much as possible. Oh and random people just showed up and partied leaving all the beer bottles and plastic shot glasses on the grill and in the sand on the property. The beach is beautiful. This place could be great, but it needs major renovations. Pics do not represent true condition of this place.

I recently stayed in unit #3 for a week. I had everything I needed in this unit. I thought the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen spacious with all my needs in order to cook. As for the bathroom, it is small, but I was the only one staying in this unit. The sink does need to be looked at and the shower drain needs two screws to keep the drain in place. These are very minimal things for the amazing price I paid. The beach is right there. This area is very friendly and a great place for a family vacation. I also liked the free trolley that travels every 20 minutes. You can also pick up another trolley to St. Armond's Circle at Coquina Beach for a fee of $1.25. This was a treat not having to drive. The cars can be quite aggressive with out of town drivers. If you are looking for a five star, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for comfort, good location, beautiful views, and easy access to the trolley, this is your place. Thank you for your hospitality. LOCATION LOCATION!!!!
I stayed in unit 2 with my son and mother...It was comfortable for the three of us.. everything we needed was already in the unit from dishes to towels when we arrived.. We had trouble with the lock on the door and within an hour a gentleman was there to fix it.. the pool was perfect for my son he loved it... the pool man came and cleaned it while we were there.. the unit is very comfortable for a short or long stay.. and did I mention LOCATION.. its RIGHT ON THE BEACH... with plenty of privacy.. The owner came to make sure we didn't need anything.. the whole experience was great. from the time we booked all the way to lounging on the beach with no worries.. I cant wait to go back!!! Great place to stay!!!

My husband and I are staying in unit #3 and have had such a great stay that we have already reserved the unit for 2019. The unit is small but has everything you need for a great, relaxing stay. The nightly sunsets have been beautiful and can be seen from our patio or from the white sandy beach which is just steps away!

The location is good but the comfort is limited. This unit is directly on the beach, which is the highlight of this Airbnb. We would be remiss if we did not leave a review to help future guests.
Caveat #1: this is a two bedroom with a daybed and trundle in the hall. There is no door and the bed is directly in front of the household toilet. This was NOT conducive for a sleeping/napping 1.6 yr old.
Caveat #2: We have two babies. One baby is fine but the crib is in the main bedroom walk-in closet with NO door. Walking to and from the master bath was a problem (lights and noise).
Caveat #3: The ONLY seating in the WHOLE house is a 3 cushion couch and dining room chairs. Everyone has to sit in dining room chairs that sit straight up, which is NOT comfortable. There is no other seating in the house besides beds.
Caveat #4 whoever takes care of the cleaning does not care how the kitchen is put back together. We had dishes in four different cabinets. At one time we thought we only had four plates and three coffee cups. There are no mixing bowls.
Caveat #5 The description on the website says that there is new furniture and appliances throughout; this is completely not true. Everything in the house is showing wear and tear.
Caveat #6: The stove does not have a digital display and therefore you are guessing that you input the right numbers for the temperature. Likewise for the timer. You can put in numbers but you can’t see the numbers. The oven does not cook to temperature! Watch whatever it is you’re cooking because you will probably need to add more time. The burners on the stove top are either boiling hot or off; “low” did not work. The letters on the stove are even worn off so it is definitely not brand new as stated in the description.
Caveat #7: The icemaker does not work well so you will want to plan on buying ice from the start.
Bottom line— We left early. No where to relax at night was very bad! We ended up ceasing our social time because the beds were the ONLY comfortable places to relax after a full beach day. All in all, worth it for the location but not worth it because of comfort and / or 2 children under 2.
