This is our second excursion arranged by Derek. He had us on a Seabourn cruise in the Mediterranean for 11 days. Seabourn is First Class in every sense! I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience.

Before the cruise we stayed in Rome for 2 nights at Palazzo Manfredi, a boutique hotel, next door to the coliseum. Excellent hotel! Location couldn’t be better.

After the cruise we had two nights in Barcelona at H10 Casa Mimosa. This boutique hotel was in the perfect location as well. We walked to the Gothic Quarter, La Familia Sagrada, and were next door to La Pedrera.

We would love to turn back the calendar and do it all over again, changing nothing.

Thank you Derek. You certainly have the passion for making travel outstanding.

From the first conversation with Derek to returning from the wonderful Italy adventure that he built for us was first class service. He listens well, and gives great feedback. This was our first two week trip to Italy. Each city and hotel that Derek recommended were 5 star.

His planning and knowledge, lots of knowledge, made our two weeks perfect. The hotels were truly 5 star, something I didn’t think that we really needed. They were excellent! We are so glad we stayed in all of them.

The last day, our flights were cancelled to go home the next morning. Derek was a hero! He navigated the airlines and got us back the day after on ITA, with a hotel closer to Milan. Never heard of ITA but it worked. I am so glad that I didn’t have to fix that problem. We couldn’t have done that on our own.

Derek, thank you. We will definitely be making more travel plans with you soon.

Many thanks to Derek for planning an incredible 14 day trip to Italy for my family of 5. Derek's knowledge of Italy and his connections with DreamItaly are top notch. Although the weather did not cooperate for our boat day in Capri, Derek was able to handle all of the necessary changes for us without any interruption in our vacation. His recommendations for hotels, drivers, private tours, and restaurants were all excellent. Since this was our first visit to Italy, we packed in a lot of touring, but Derek was able to incorporate enough free time for us to explore places on our own or to simply enjoy some of the amenities at our amazing hotels, especially in Capri and Lake Como.

Derek did an incredible job crafting a dream vacation to Greece for my daughter and me this summer. I came to him after hours of researching flights to and hotels on Italy's Amalfi coast. My head was spinning and I knew I needed help. He quickly jumped in and came up with many options, given his extensive knowledge. I switched gears and asked if we could explore Greece, and presto! He had us booked at glorious hotels on Santorini and Mykonos (especially Mykonos!). He instantly came up with the best things to do on the islands, like a catamaran cruise and lunch at Nammos Beach Club, and the best ways to get from point to point (flights vs. ferries, etc.). He made great restaurant suggestions, also, and took care of the reservations for us at those and at some that we came up with ourselves...all things that it would've taken me forever to figure out and would've likely prevented me from booking the vacation at all. On our last day in Greece we were supposed to tour the Acropolis but the government changed a policy and our tickets became invalid. He got in touch with us to give us a heads up. The next day we realized he was also on top of our flight being delayed and asked if he could help. All in all, a perfect vacation, and we're so grateful to Derek!
