I noticed a mold-like smell coming through the vent in my powder room, which is above the basement crawl space. I also saw a spotty pattern in various locations on the basement and crawl space ceiling. I have asthma and was concerned.

Michael came out to Guelph and thoroughly inspected the space. He concluded that there were no signs of mold, and he also taught us a great deal about how mold develops and what to look for. He took a general air quality sample, which came back clear—PHEW! Michael was a knowledgeable and excellent communicator. We would call him back in a heartbeat if we ever suspected mold again.
