I listed my house in January 2023 with this company. I wasn’t having much luck getting an offer and I live out of town so it was a difficult process for me. I had two deaths in my family and decided to withdraw the listing because I was not having any success selling it. I withdrew the listing in April of 2023 and never heard any further from the company. Now I’m Looking into selling it as a cash offer and they are hounding me for their cut. They want paid for doing nothing! How is that fair? They are refusing to release me from my contract so I’ll be stuck paying for a house I can’t afford until their contract expires. I’m a single mother trying to sell a house I can’t afford to upkeep and they think it’s okay to come in and take a portion of my profit when they couldn’t get the job done.

I have mixed reviews of Colwell Banker. I dealt with 2 realtors at this office. Robyn Makstutis, was amazing but dealing with Roxanne Humes was a nightmare. Roxanne was unresponsive and her inability to do her job left me and my family homeless for a week. I will tell anyone to save yourself, use another realtor besides Roxanne Humes. That woman is an awful person and agent. She only cares about money and she doesn’t deserve a dime. I also reached out to the head manager to file a formal complaint on Roxanne and received absolutely no response.

Coldwell Banker offers a list of preferred Home Inspecters. I used their list and a company called Brickkicker. This company did my home inspection in 2014. They miss multiple items that I have since been told should have been obvious from plumbing to electricial. It has costed me tens of thousands of dollars in repairs. I informed Coldwell Bankers Office verbally and in writing of the issues and asked the company be taken of the list the share with future clients. They refused. I wouldn’t do business again with a company that is knowingly referring companies that have done detremential damage to their clients.
