I had a great experience at the Belize Consulate Office. The staff were very professional and respectful. I find the process to be much easier than going to the office without being prepared. The steps to apply for Belize passport is very simple and easy. I sent an email to the Belize Consulate, I got a quick response. They send the application and instructions. I filled it out and emailed them everything back. When all my paperwork was approved I received a courtesy call to schedule the appointment to come in to the office. I also received a courtesy call telling me what was messing for my documents to be accepted. My appointment lasted for about 30-40 minutes, the staff was very organized, they worked carefully to avoid any mistakes. And they also provided parking, I could not have asked for more. I expect to receive my passport in 2-3 months. It was a very good experience.

Need to open back the office waited a year just for them start application process they don't answer the phone now I'm homeless due to not having my passport renewal

Do these people even work? How busy can this place get that they can’t even answer the phone or emails? And when you do get someone on the phone, she’s condescending and rude. Like ok, don’t tell me how you’re doing your job, just do your damn job! My family has been waiting 6 fricking months to get their passport after being told it will be ready in 3. The application process was done in October and now it’s April. Did they simply pocket the money for themselves? Or do they conduct business like the true snail pace Belizeans they are? Absolutely ridiculous.

These people lied and say they in the office when they’re not . Who pay you guys because that money should go to ppl in need in Belize and not staff at the consulate of Belize . I’ve had the worse experience dealing with them

Sadly, the situation of these representatives of my country do not do their job and do not answer anything, nor phone and emails that wasted money from the country's funds for these people who do not like to work.

Trying to schedule an appointment to renew my passport for 2 months now. Try calling and get a voice mail to leave massage. No one calls back at all. Reach out to NY & IL offices. They have been receiving multiple call from different states with the same complaints.

Very ridiculous of this office .. unfortunately they don't keep with their word since September I've been waiting for December to renew passport now I call and nothing it will be until February like really . This office needs professional poeple to run this place and actually keep the word ... The individual that is the head needs also traing on how to run a office not only need traing on the new system they'll be using to renew passport .. very

Very helpful and respectful staff. I was very happy with the service, unlike the consulates in DC (worst) and NYC. (maybe its the California sun) I was having several issues applying for the Evisa and Ms. Makhanu took the time to figure it out, gave clear and precise answers to questions.. She was very helpful, great rep for Kenya!!
