Looking into buying a house can stressful, especially during the pandemic and as a first-time buyer. My husband and I decided to give it a shot and started looking into buying a house instead of renting. We were looking for a home in the Riverside area and our lender recommended us to Mario’s team. In the past we had negative interactions with different realtors, but thankfully we were able to work with Jose and Marlon who go above and beyond to help you find a home. Although they are located in Palmdale, our realtor, Marlon would make the drive and show us houses in the Riverside area and sometimes it would take him 2-3 hours to get to it. We really appreciated all their help and for making the process go smoothly and for always communicating with us. It has been officially 1 year since we moved in! Let me start out by saying that I was really hesitant about purchasing a home. My past experiences with other realtors was very stressful, no communication, leaving the country without notice while in the middle of buying process. I was left doing the job of the realtor. So I’ve always had the notion of buying a house will be extremely stressful and I would rather rent then to deal with it. I spoke out with Marlon and Mario and they guaranteed me that with working with the right realtor, such as themselves, this would not be the stressful experience that I was used to. From day one I was the priority. They took me step by step, answered every question, and was very knowledgeable. I do not recommend Mario Menjivar and his team. I came to an open house on a horse property in Palmdale. Spoke to his realtor who was hosting the open house. This realtor gave us info and assured us they could get us approved and I was all for it and considered switching agents. But, after speaking with Mario he gave us the same info agent I was working with had, I decided to stick with my agent since my agent already had all my info. We put in an offer on this property and after going back and forth and Mario Menjivar contradicting himself a few times he then decided to stop answering my agent emails, calls and texts. Very unprofessional. I thankfully found another beautiful ranch property and currently in escrow. That property I was interested in has been on the market since 2018 and still is as of now.
